1. Acceptance

By using ReefBot, you accept these terms. If you don't, please uninstall the app.

2. Subscriptions and billing

ReefBot Pro is an auto-renewable subscription billed by Apple. Current price: $4.99 / €4.99 / 49 SEK / 49 NOK / 49 DKK per month, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.

3. Acceptable use

Don't post: harassment, spam, sexual content, photos of other people without consent, sale offers (livestock or hardware) outside designated areas, or anything illegal where you live. We reserve the right to remove posts and ban accounts that break these rules. Repeat offenders are removed permanently.

4. AI diagnosis

Photo diagnosis uses third-party AI (OpenAI). It is advisory, not authoritative. ReefBot is not a substitute for a qualified marine biologist or veterinarian. We cannot guarantee diagnostic accuracy. Use AI suggestions as one input among many — always verify before adding chemicals or making major changes to your tank.

5. Hardware control

If you connect ReefBot to physical hardware (Apex, ProfiLux, ReefBeat, EcoTech, etc.), every command is gated by per-action confirmation and a daily cap you set. We are not responsible for losses from hardware misuse, firmware drift, or third-party API changes. Use the kill-switch in Hardware settings any time you want commands paused.

6. Data ownership

Your tank data and Community posts remain yours. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display Community posts inside the ReefBot app for as long as the post exists.

7. Liability

ReefBot is provided "as is", without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to ReefBot is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You can stop using ReefBot any time by uninstalling. We can suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, with notice when reasonable.

9. Governing law

Swedish law, with the courts of Stockholm as the exclusive venue, except where consumer-protection rules grant you stronger rights in your home country.
